Lizzie Kate SAL!!

It's November!!  I'm joining in the Lizzie Kate 6 Fat Men and 6 Snow Belles Stitch-A-Long that Denise at Riverside Stitching has organized.  We will be stitching them all on one piece of fabric with whatever color we chose of fabric and floss.  My goal is to stitch 1 snowman or snowwoman a month and outline as I go and have time.  I'm using 30 ct WDW Cocoa fabric (one of my absolute favorites) and most of the recommended hand dyed floss.  I am substituting a couple with DMC.  Let the stitching begin!!  I'll give an update the 1st of December with my progress!  

LHN My Sheep

I was lucky enough to stitch this model for Little House Needleworks.  This design is called My Sheep and I fell in love with it when I first saw it!  I have it kitted up to stitch again too!!!  The colors are perfect and there's just something with designs with sheep in them that call out to me!

CCN Be Thankful

I have so many things to be thankful for in my life. I have a wonderful husband of 21 years, 2 fantastic kids (14 and 12), friends and family who would do anything for me. One of the things I'm extremely thankful for is to able to model stitch for Nikki Leeman from Country Cottage Needleworks and also for her mother Diane from LHN. This is one of my favorite fall designs because I just love white pumpkins and it's from the creative mind of Nikki Leeman.

CCN Sept, Oct and Nov

I've obviously gotten a bit behind blogging but have at least been busy stitching! Here are the Cottage of the Month models I stitched for Country Cottage Needleworks for Sept, Oct and Nov. Only one more left to show and it's one of my favorites!!

Framed LHN Family Sampler

Here is a picture of my framed Little House Needleworks Family Sampler. I went with a blue frame similar to the color of Crescent Colours Wavy Navy that I used on the house. It is proudly hanging in my family room!

LHN Family Sampler

I have been working on my Family Sampler from Little House Needleworks off and on for the last couple of years. I was blessed to stitch the model of this for Diane Williams and knew that one day I would stitch it for myself. Pictures just cannot do it justice!!! I changed colors for mine from the original to match my Americana decor. It's stitched on 32 ct linen from Sassy's Fabbys called Sable. I have loved every stitch that I put into this design so much that I would even stitch it again!!! I even took it in to be framed already and hope to have a picture to share next week of it framed!!

Some summer stitching

I stitched up the Lizzie Kate Summer from the Seasons Series. I'm also attaching a picture of how it looks next to Spring. I'm really enjoying this small project this year.

This past week I stitched up Little House Needleworks Summer Band Sampler. I didn't change any of the recommended floss colors! The colors just worked for my house as it was designed! I didn't have the recommended fabric but found another pretty color at my LNS. I stitched it on R&R Old Town Blend 30 ct linen.
