CCN Santa's Village

I've been so busy stitching that I haven't updated my blog!  OOPS!  These are 3 more of the Country Cottage Needleworks Santa's Village models that I've stitched.  They are North Pole Post Office, Mrs. Claus' Cookie Shop and Santa's Stocking Store.  This series is just so cute and I'm having a lot of fun stitching them!

CCN Santa's Village

Here are the first 2 of 12 fantastic designs I'm model stitching for Country Cottage Needleworks.  The first one is Santa's House and the second one is Poinsettia Place.  They are designed to stitch individually or connected.  The top border will connect to the next design.  They would also be very cute stitched as stand-ups or blocks of some sort to set up like an actual village!

LHN Birdhouse Alphabet

I was able to stitch the model for Little House Needleworks chart Birdhouse Alphabet.  It was so much fun stitching with the Crescent Colours Belle Soie silk floss.  It stitches up very quickly!

Lizzie Kate Snowman SAL December progress

I've been so busy stitching this year that I forgot to share my December progress on my LK Snowman piece for the SAL I'm in.  This piece is so much fun to stitch!  I was able to frame out a few more of the blocks last month with some extra found stitching time!

Heavenly Stars

This pattern is from the Stitchworks and is called Heavenly Stars.  I stitched it for my cross stitch shop Cross My Heart who are making them into pillows to send to the Newtown, Connecticut families and first responders.  Mine is stitched on 28 ct Nautical Blue lugana from Sassy's Fabbys.  I used all DMC for it instead of the recommended Kreinik fibers.  I used DMC 823 for the words and 825, 745 and white for the stars.  Every stitch in this contains a prayer for those families.

CCN December Cottage

Here is the December model I stitched for Country Cottage Needleworks.  This is one of my favorites!!!  I absolutely love this one!!  This finishes up the series of monthly cottages and they were so much fun to stitch!!  I've been busy enjoying more model stitching that I'll share later!  I think model stitching keeps me sane!!
