My very first pinkeep

Anyone who knows me knows that I'm not a "finisher". Sure I finish stitching on lots of projects but to actually finish the project into something.....well that's another story. This week I've really wanted to try to finish some stitching into a pinkeep. There are a lot of great finishing websites and I have some great friends who have explained to me how they make pinkeeps. I figured it wouldn't hurt to give it a try. Here's what I came up with. :) I will definitely finish some more stitching (that's hiding away in a drawer! GASP!!) this way. Maybe even some Christmas presents! We'll see!

Blue Ribbon Designs A Christmas Wish

I stitched this design for my August ornament. It's from the 2006 JCS ornament magazine. The over one stitching always takes longer than the over two but I'm happy with the results and think it was worth it. :) It's stitched on Sassy's 32 ct Cafe Au Lait with all but one of the recommended floss colors.

Letters from Nora "D"

This is a model that I stitched for Nora Corbett. Letter "D" I named her Danielle but Nora went with the name Diedra. She's very delicate and so much prettier in person that the picture shows.
